BASE Project Presented at the Fifth Conference of Presidents of Arab and Russian Universities

The BASE Project was disseminated during the Fifth Conference of Presidents of Arab and Russian Universities, held in Helwan, Egypt, on December 7–8, 2025, and organized by the Association of Arab Universities (AArU).

The conference brought together around 200 university leaders from Arab and Russian institutions. Through side meetings and direct engagement with participants, the BASE Project’s objectives, achievements, and publications were presented, highlighting its role in strengthening science education, academic cooperation, and institutional capacity building.

This participation enhanced the project’s visibility among higher education leaders and supported its ongoing dissemination and sustainability efforts at the regional and international levels.

The BASE project project aims to elevate higher education in Palestine and Jordan by implementing the Bologna Process in one program chosen from the multiple programs in the colleges of science at each partner university in Palestine and Jordan. The project will utilise Bologna’s standards and philosophy to develop these selected programs by creating curricula and establishing the context and environment supporting this development at each HEIs.
