Prof. Soheil Salha

Biography

Dr. Soheil Salha is associate professor of Curriculum and instruction with specialization in the field of Educational Technology (Math Education). Dr.Salha published several studies in using software in learning and teaching Mathematics, curriculum, teacher education, online learning, artificial intelligence, early childhood, Item Response Theory and STEM. He taught Ph.D, M.A and B.A courses in Mathematics, Technology Education, research and statistics, teacher education, and assessment and evaluation.
Dr.Salha works as a trainer of instructional design, active learning, E-portfolio and authentic assessment. He had experience in teacher education programs, courses and plans. He worked in several projects with EU and World Bank in fields of practicum, professional development, technical and vocational education, artificial intelligence and action research.

The BASE project project aims to elevate higher education in Palestine and Jordan by implementing the Bologna Process in one program chosen from the multiple programs in the colleges of science at each partner university in Palestine and Jordan. The project will utilise Bologna’s standards and philosophy to develop these selected programs by creating curricula and establishing the context and environment supporting this development at each HEIs.
