Teacher Training

In this work package, teachers from Palestinian and Jordanian universities will be trained and qualified in each selected program at their respective institutions.

The training will be based on the Bologna Process philosophy, covering aspects such as learning and teaching, course design, student assignments, methods of instruction, and effective assessment methods for evaluating learning outcomes. This WP aims to equip teachers to serve as educators for their students and, concurrently, to prepare them to function as trainers for their colleagues. As the experience is eventually extended to other programs within the College of Science or the university as a whole, these trained educators will play a pivotal role in disseminating knowledge and expertise.

The BASE project project aims to elevate higher education in Palestine and Jordan by implementing the Bologna Process in one program chosen from the multiple programs in the colleges of science at each partner university in Palestine and Jordan. The project will utilise Bologna’s standards and philosophy to develop these selected programs by creating curricula and establishing the context and environment supporting this development at each HEIs.
