Implementation of new Bologna-based programs

Based on the experiences gained in the previous work packages, which include developing government regulations and instructions, establishing an appropriate environment in universities, gaining experience in program design and implementation, and obtaining necessary accreditation from regulatory authorities in Palestine and Jordan, the new program developed at each university will be initiated and implemented in this work package.

The first step involves attracting students to the programs and their new curriculum. The focus will be on the vocational path and its alignment with the needs of the labor market, emphasizing the positive expected outcomes for students upon graduation and gaining professional experience.

Throughout this work package and within the project period, experiences and lessons learned will be documented and utilized to develop expertise for the future.

The BASE project project aims to elevate higher education in Palestine and Jordan by implementing the Bologna Process in one program chosen from the multiple programs in the colleges of science at each partner university in Palestine and Jordan. The project will utilise Bologna’s standards and philosophy to develop these selected programs by creating curricula and establishing the context and environment supporting this development at each HEIs.
